unicorn/prefer-date-now Pedantic
What it does
Prefers use of Date.now()
over new Date().getTime()
or new Date().valueOf()
.
Why is this bad?
Using Date.now()
is shorter and nicer than new Date().getTime()
, and avoids unnecessary instantiation of Date
objects.
